North Sea Design created WP Sunday to build solid WordPress themes for churches with small budgets.
Client
A church with very small budget has very limited options for their website. We found that many churches were using small business or marketing agency WordPress themes and trying to bend them to fit their needs.
Brief
It didn't make a lot of sense to us for churches to have to jump through so many hoops just to have a website. We wanted to create an easy way for churches to add sermons, events, and staff members with exactly the metadata they need associated with those data types.
Solution
By building our church themes on top of the established, secure, and streamlined Genesis Framework for WordPress we were able to focus on the problems churches were experiencing. We built custom WordPress plugins for sermons, church events, and staff to make it easy for churches to manage the type of content they need.
Our Role
Branding, website design, website development, product design, product development, and art direction. Work began in February 2016, and ended with the launch of the new website in June 2016.
